Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at approximately 8:00 AM. Depart Nairobi and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the viewpoint to enjoy the landscape and take photographs. Continue towards the Masai Mara, arriving at around 1:00 PM. Check into your accommodation and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the Mara’s open savannah. Explore the reserve in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs and other wildlife. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Masai Mara

Spend the day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. The morning drive takes you deeper into the reserve in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. Continue towards areas around the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles can be seen. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch during the day’s exploration before continuing with afternoon game viewing. The open plains provide excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and observing animals in their natural surroundings. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara Game Viewing

Continue discovering the Masai Mara with another full day of game viewing. Explore different areas of the reserve in search of predators and other wildlife, with opportunities to see cheetahs, leopards and the many species that inhabit the Mara ecosystem. Guests interested in additional experiences may choose an optional hot-air balloon safari or a Maasai village visit. Enjoy lunch at the lodge or carry a packed lunch for a full day inside the reserve before continuing with the afternoon game drive. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey from the Masai Mara towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Travel through the changing landscapes of the Great Rift Valley before arriving at Lake Nakuru at approximately 3:00 PM. After checking into your accommodation, head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park in search of its well-known wildlife, including black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes and other species. The park is also known for its birdlife and flamingos. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru Full Day

Today is dedicated to exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. Begin with a game drive through the park, visiting different areas around the lake and its surrounding habitats. Keep watch for black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, leopards and the park’s diverse birdlife. The day also provides opportunities to look for the famous tree-climbing lions found in the area. Enjoy lunch during the day’s activities before continuing with further game viewing and photography. Return to your accommodation in the evening for dinner and overnight.
