Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at approximately 8:00 AM. Depart Nairobi and travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at the viewpoint to enjoy the spectacular landscape and take photographs. Continue towards the Masai Mara, arriving at around 1:00 PM. Check into your accommodation and enjoy lunch before taking some time to relax. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara. Explore the savannah in search of the reserve’s abundant wildlife, including lions, elephants, cheetahs and other species. Return to the camp around 6:30 PM for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Masai Mara

Today is dedicated to exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives. After breakfast, set out into the reserve to search for the Big Five and other wildlife. The game drive may take you towards the Mara River, an important part of the ecosystem where hippos and crocodiles can be seen. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the reserve before continuing with the day’s wildlife exploration. The afternoon provides another opportunity for wildlife photography as you move through different areas of the Mara. Return to your camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara Game Drives

Continue your exploration of the Masai Mara with another full day of game viewing. The day’s route will take you through different sections of the reserve in search of wildlife, with opportunities to see cheetahs, leopards and other predators, as well as the wider range of animals found across the savannah. For guests interested in additional experiences, an optional hot-air balloon safari can be arranged. A Maasai village visit is also available as an optional cultural experience. Enjoy lunch either at the lodge or as a packed picnic during the game drive before continuing with wildlife viewing. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Masai Mara to Amboseli

After breakfast, check out and begin the journey from the Masai Mara towards Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you through the changing landscapes of Kenya, including the Great Rift Valley region and Maasai lands. Continue south towards Amboseli, arriving in the late afternoon. After checking in, head out for an evening game drive. As you explore the park, look for elephants and other wildlife while enjoying views of Mount Kilimanjaro when conditions allow. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Full Day Amboseli

Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park. Begin with an early morning game drive, when the conditions may provide some of the best opportunities to see Mount Kilimanjaro. Continue through the park’s wetlands and open plains, where large elephant herds can often be found. Visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the Amboseli landscape and enjoy a picnic lunch with the mountain forming a spectacular backdrop. Continue with an afternoon game drive through different habitats, including the swamps and dry lake bed, before returning to the lodge in the evening.

Amboseli Game Viewing

Enjoy another full day of wildlife exploration in Amboseli. Begin with an early morning drive for sunrise photography and another opportunity to enjoy views of Mount Kilimanjaro. After returning for breakfast, take some time to relax before heading out again for further game viewing. The afternoon drive allows you to explore more of the park and its different landscapes. Continue looking for elephants and other wildlife while enjoying the dramatic scenery surrounding Amboseli. Return to the camp for your final evening in the park, followed by dinner and overnight.
